We tend to put expectations on leaders that they would be perfect and without flaws and when we as seasoned leaders share lessons, we tend to gloss over our failures and mistakes.  This book focuses on the FLAWed leader (Failing forward; Lifelong Learners; Authentic; Wise Workers) and how we can create a culture of innovation and growth without fear of failure.  It also helps readers to be more self-aware and work through mistakes and challenges with those they trust rather than going inward and isolating themselves for fear of judgement.  This book provides examples of FLAWed leaders who have done amazing things and also explores the difference between being FLAWed and unethical/ amoral or illegal and how to recover from failures and mistakes.
